The Furplay Harness and Mask is a good starter's kit. Some women are unsure if harness play is what they ultimately want, so it's a good idea to start off with an inexpensive harness - one that allows women to experiment, and if they decide that they do like harnesses, better (and more expensive) harnesses can be purchased.
This harness is surprisingly comfortable. The straps slip a little when fast-paced thrusting starts, but holding the dildo makes sure that the harness remains in place; and since some women get off on holding a dildo, forcing it in their desired direction and penetration angle, it is a win-win situation.
I recommend that beginners and moderately experienced women also consider the Bend Over Beginner and Flame Harness Kit as potential candidates. The Furplay Harness was my first introduction to girl-on-girl sex. I have a certain warmth in my heart for it -- more nostalgic of the moments that came with it than how it performed. Since buying the Furplay Harness, I've moved on to several other harnesses. People complain about the Furplay a lot, but it's probably (or so far as I've seen) the least expensive harness. It's good for people like me who are unfamiliar with harnesses.

a mellifluous motion doesn't come from using this harness. nothing is smooth about it. the dildo doesn't feel very secure in it.

Oh girl, not impressed with the Furplay Harness and Mask. Sadly, I get more from the mask than the harness! Doesn't matter ... I bought a different harness two weeks ago that has better waist straps.

good for a sexy time. can't hang with wilder sex. the straps are flimsy. the harness's front cover bends a lot. most importantly (and a positive), the dildo generally is held tight with the snaps.

We agree, Karma. But I don't own the Flame Harness Kit; I have the Hardcore Harness, which I've grown to love. The Furplay Harness and Kit are good for starting out or for less experienced women, but it's not the ideal harness.
