I think the Mini Cat-O-Nine Tail Whip would be a good starter toy for someone who is curious about discipline, and wants to see what it is like to whip someone or to be whipped. It is a good little whip for the money. I tried it on both my pet, and a submissive female friend of mine. Both felt it gave a nice little sting, and with a bit of effort, actually caused a bit of redness and abrasion. You don’t need a lot of experience or finesse to use it. Also, I doubt an inexperienced Top could do any serious damage, even if he or she used the whip in areas not appropriate for whipping (imo anyway) such as the kidney/lower back area, and back of the knees. If one is into serious discipline, this is probably not the best whip for you. The leather strips are very lightweight, and not braided as most cat-o-nine’s I have used are. It doesn’t have the weight and balance needed for precise placement on the body. And it doesn’t look like it will last through a lot of whippings either. But it would probably last long enough for someone curious about bdsm to decide if this is an avenue he or she wants to explore. And so I think it would be a good little starter whip. If you are just curious about discipline, and want to buy the Mini Cat-O-Nine Tail Whip, I would give this sex toy five stars. If you are looking for a quality whip that will last for a good while, I would give it 3 hearts. And so my rating is an average of the two, or 4 hearts

Might as well go with what works! The Mini Cat O Nine Tail Whip works for me, so I bet it works for most people. I am kinda picky and a harsh reviewer, but this whip lived up to my expectations.

No way is it the best whip ever made. Not even close to the best whip, actually. I look at it more as a playful whip with limitations, for a solid price. I am not spending a 100+ bucks on a whip, sorry. It won't happen, so I am left finding a acceptable whip for an acceptable cost. This whip fit the bill and fit in my hand. I think that's a great combo.

You'd think a whip was a whip - that it wouldn't take much to get my blood flowing. It isn't true. Don't fall for that nonsense. A good whip makes a difference. It can sometimes be the difference between pleasure and pain. I don't like pain, so I focus on the pleasure effect. Cat-O-Nine (mini) is perfect for my small booty. I want soft spankings, with a slight edge and sting. I like the tails that flow off of this whip.

For its size, the Mini Cat has some splicky-splat in it. Oh, and if you didn't know, that's a good thing. The leather tails aren't too rough on my poor cheeks. With it being so small, I can hide it in my closet without the kids finding it. Of course my husband knows where it's at!!! haha.

Judging by its small size and strong snaps, this is a very good whip. Easier to control than many other whips, the Mini Cat is used regularly in my house. We aren't interested in the seriousness of it all; it's more aimed at playful behavior.

I've wanted a whip of my own for a while now. The prospect of buying and using a long whip wasn't too promising, so I went with the Mini Cat Nine. My husband wasn't too into the idea of being whipped. He decider he wanted to the whipper, with me the whippee. I'll get his butt when he's not paying attention

The tails of this whip fray too much. When using Mini Cat, be sure to pop it just right. If you don't, the tails will continue to fray. As far as mini whips go, it's a good one. I have a bunch. I might as well start a damn collection.
