The Lipstick Vibrator is a fascinating sex toy concept and intelligent vibrator design. I thoroughly enjoy the idea of a cosmetically-inspired vibrator, but I didn't know if the idea would translate into a successful sex toy. Honestly, I questioned the practicality of this vibrator - I didn't see how it could be powerful enough to please me. There were a few surprises, though - some positive, some negative.
I was surprised by the lipstick head's slickness and curves. I enjoyed the tip's texture and shape more than I imagined I would, so I was happy with that aspect. How strong were the vibrations? Not that strong, I must admit. I'm not sure that most beginners would find this sex toy powerful enough, so you can bet that I was under-stimulated.
The casing felt like it might fall apart. It didn't feel very stable in my hands, like, if I turned it too far to the left or put too much pressure on it, the casing might break. I realize that it's not the most expensive vibrator, so I'm not that critical about the casing's limited strength. Still, it's important to note that this is not a vibrator built to last for a long time.
The Lipstick Vibrator is a fun sex toy to look at, but it can't be relied upon for intense clitoral stimulation. Sure, I experience a few tingly sensations and, if I tried really hard, concentrating, I might be able to orgasm with it. I shouldn't have to work so hard for an orgasm - which might sound ridiculous, at first; but I enjoy sex toys that do most of the work for me. If I had to choose between the Discretion Bullet and Lipstick Vibrator (both are discreet), I would go with the Discretion Bullet.
I recommend that women of all experience levels read reviews for the Starburst, Pocket Rocket Booster, and Lily before buying the Lipstick Vibrator or Discretion Bullet. Though more expensive, all three are better equipped to stimulate my clitoris the right way. If cost is a factor, you might consider purchasing the Pocket Rocket or Silver Bullet as inexpensive alternatives to the Lipstick Vibrator.

I love its appearance and texture. The vibrations are just not up to snuff. If the maker could increase the vibration level, I would buy another one. I am in love with the discreetness part, but I still need to be stimulated! Unfortunately, the Lipstick Vibrator falls short of my expectations.

When I opened the box, I was disappointed. The picture makes it look edgier, more sophisticated, something--not sure exactly. Anyway, I anticipated that the vibrations would suck. They aren't great, but aren't horrible. I am going with a different kind of vibrator next time.

I was not new to vibrators, and I have to say, the lipstick vibrator is one of the trickiest vibes I've seen. The small design is brilliant and it's a real ride. The discreetness and functionality of this product can't be beat. First of all it really, really, really looks just like a tube of lipstick. You could take the top off on the subway and nobody, not even someone sitting right next to you would have a clue. It's powerful enough to bring me to orgasm in 5 minutes flat too.
