If you've visited VibeReview enough, you've probably noticed a common theme on the site: "Silicone-based lubricants are not compatible with silicone sex toys." While 99% of the time silicone-based lubes should not be used with silicone sex toys, there is one exception to the rule: Universal Lube. Universal Lube - though a silicone lubricant - can be used with any sex toy material!
If you love the long-lasting glide created by silicone lubricants and felt frustrated that you couldn't use silicone lubricants with your favorite silicone sex toy, Universal Lube is your opportunity to experience slippery and slick sex toy play like never before. Universal Lube's special ingredients do not degrade sensitive sex toy materials.
Universal Lube is also formulated for superior sex lubricity, is 100% latex condom friendly, and sustains its wetness for as long as you need it to. Whether you are using it for foreplay or sex, this amazing personal lubricant opens your sexual door to another realm of infinite pleasure, where you and your lover aren't constantly starting, stopping, and adding more and more lube to sustain pleasurable wetness.
A genius created Universal Lube. I've been waiting years for the right sex toy lube - one that offers me the benefits of silicone slickness and compatibility with silicone sex toys. Eros Bodyglide and Wet Platinum are two of my favorite lubricants for sex; however, I cannot use them with my silicone sex toys - talk about a real bummer!
Universal Lube is not as effective for sex as either Eros Bodyglide or Wet Platinum, but Universal Lube is a significant improvement to water-based lubes that I was forced to use with my silicone sex toys. As it stands, I use Universal Lube for all my sex toys, for masturbation; but I use either Eros Bodyglide or Wet Platinum for sex. I even have my own routine going with all three lubes!
Some people might make a distinction between all the different lubes available, but I can tell a substantial difference between them all. Having spent a lot of time testing different lubes, I am convinced that silicone-based lubricants are far superior to water-based lubricants; so I am a supporter of Universal Lube as the only silicone-based lubricant that can be used with silicone sex toys.

This lube is brand new and supposedly the best thing since sliced bread, but I beg to differ. While this is the only lubricant (to my knowledge) that you can use with silicone sex toys, I refuse to put my precious sex toys at risk. The only toys I would be willing to try it on would be my cheap jelly toys but as they are not made with silicone lube - I can use a better quality silicone lubricant with them and not have to worry. I have to many high-end, very expensive sex toys that I would hate to see turn into swiss silicone cheese to even risk it.
As far as the quality of this lubricant - it's definitely lacking. I tried it and while it does stay slicker longer, it leaves an oily reside which is not something I want anywhere near my vagina. It was a royal pain in the rear end to wash off and left my hands feeling gross.
If silicone lube is your thing I say give it a shot - but if you have no problems with water-based lubricants I still think that's the way to go when it comes to sex toys. As for this universal lubricant for anything other than toys I'd say stick to some of the better brands in either silicone or water-based formula.
If I had to give this product hearts I'd give it 2. It's not the worst thing I've ever tried but I don't think I would go out and purchase this for myself.
