The latest sex toy in my growing collection is the Paul and Paulina, a dual stimulation rabbit-style vibrator. It is a Fun Factory adult toy, so I had high expectations for its performance. Considering that I love the Little Paul, Stranger II, and Share as much as I do, I suspected that the Paul and Paulina would become one of my new favorite vibrating sex toys. Well, now that I've spent some intimate time with this adorable adult toy, I cannot say it is a new favorite. It is a competent rabbit vibrator, one that covers all the basics of dual stimulation - but it struggles with over-the-top arousal, the kind that I personally prefer.

More stimulation is better, so when this sex toy made me feel under-stimulated, I felt frustrated and disappointed. A lot of women go the other direction, claiming that many powerful vibrators are - yes, too powerful, leading to over-stimulation. It takes one mighty, mighty sex toy to make me feel that way, but women - like anyone else - have a variety of stimulation preferences. If you frequently feel over-stimulated, the Paul and Paulina is the next toy you should purchase. Its gradual approach to internal and external arousal suits some women. But for me, my body is geared toward more power and precision than the Paul and Paulina can deliver. For example, the Vibe Rabbit, Gigi, and Japanese G-Spot Squirmy all deliver the right amount of power for me.

I'd also like to mention that putting in the batteries was a challenge. I get so incredibly frustrated when a sex toy's battery compartment is hidden or difficult to figure out. Fun Factory's vibrators, despite looking great, tend to be a little tricky to get open. Sounds like a small gripe, but when I am ready for action, I don't want anything slowing me down. I approve of its material, though. It is made of 100% silicone, which is safe and feels better than some softer materials. Looking at the toy, I imagined that the shaft's shape and size would work wonderfully for quality G-Spot massage, and that the clitoral tickler (attached to the shaft's base) was long enough for intense external titillation, but my initial impression of the toy's design proved wrong in two areas: G-Spot concentration and effective clitoral tickler length and width. The two features are connected. If one part doesn't work correctly, the other part struggles to do its job. The clitoral tickler didn't do its job and as a result of its size and shape, the dildo didn't work as well for G-Spot massage. The twisting factor was fine. Vibration-wise, it could be stronger.

The Paul and Paulina would definitely be fine for a beginner or someone who only needs minimal power to experience orgasms. I had a hard time getting the toy to hit the right spots at a consistent pace, and the shaft had to be inserted quite a bit to even feel the clitoral piece, which is the best part (in my eyes). This evolving need to re-insert the shaft for an acceptable vibe-to-clit alignment frustrated me because I would lose those spectacular sensations right when the toy moved out of place. The Paul & Paulina left me unsatisfied. I wasn't impressed by its overall performance: The shaft was too wide and wasn't easily insertable, and the clitoral tickler's size, shape, and power aren't constructed in a pro-stimulation way. It definitely is not the Japanese G-Spot Squirmy or the Gigi.

While it isn't made for ever body (what toy is?), this duel vibrator is 100% silicone, soft, smooth and totally easy to clean. With a ribbed body and the perfect g-spot curve, it's easy to see why so many people love this rabbit-style vibe.

I'm not sure if rabbit style toys just aren't my style, but I was underwhelmed by this one. Great material, lots of power to the amount of batteries (4 AA) that it takes, but a bit noisy, and wasn't quite the right fit for me. I did, however, like it slightly better than Sally Seal :) Definitely body friendly!
